This non-existing town was selected the county seat in the Nov. 6, 1900 general election. Name the town, county & the two towns who lost to this non-existing town.

answer --->
"Center" in Knox County. Originally called Plum Valley but changed to end a dispute with Bloomfield and Vertigre (and also Niobrara and Creighton). The town was surveyed in the center of the county and the two owners of the cornfields, where it was located, each contributed 20 acres to the new county seat.
