Point here for Janet Miller's answer ---> Jesse James is said to have hidden loot here and there, such as at Devil's Nest near Crofton, Knox County, an extremely rugged area. From Crofton, about 13 miles is a sandy road junction. Up into this hilly terrain to Tewsville, Knox county, then at about 6 miles is Devil's Nest, a tract of rough meadow and woodland along the Missouri River. This region is dotted with hills shaped like old-fashioned chocolate drops, and is bounded on three sides by grazing land; the south line is a chalk cliff rising 70 to more than 100 feet, though the highest point in the region is about 450 feet above bottom land.
