My ancestors lived in Pawnee City circa 1864-1880. Charles Dort had a daughter Roxcy. She married Elliot Hendrix and I have a professional wedding picture of them that says that it was taken by "Howard Ellis Photographer, Pawnee City, Neb. I know that Roxcy (Cora) Dort was born in 1862 in WI, and in 1864 the family moved to Pawnee City, which, my info says had 100 people. I don't know when Roxcy and Elliot were married but I believe that my grandmother Cora Maud Hendrix was born there on 19 Jul 1884. I also know that Roxcy had several brothers, John and Albert as well as a sister Cora. The father, Charles Dort was born 10 Aug 1833 in NY. Got any info on Charles and Roxcy Dort or Elliot Hendrix?
