Searching for Weis - Stemper - Pausner information I have recently been searching for ancestral information on my grandfather Frank Weis and his wife Catherine Stemper Weis who lived in the Burchard area and moved to Pawnee City in 1952. I am their last remaining grandchild and all of our information, memorabilia and photos of this side of my family have been lost so I would really like to maintain some sort of family record for my children. My grandfather grew up in the Burchard area. I believe his father's name was Joseph Weis and his mother's name was Carolyn Pausner. Joseph's grandfather was Wenzl or Wenzyl Weis. My grandmother's father was either a Matthew or Micke Stemper and I do not know her mother's name. I believe she grew up in the Steinauer area.
